The Venice 5k is back for its sixth year! PLEASE READ ALL POINTS BELOW for essential race day info!

• Date: Thursday, October 15th 

• Location: The Waterfront Venice (205 Ocean Front Walk, Venice, CA 90291)

• We encourage runners to leave personal items. Bag storage will be available for essential, small items only. Please leave non-essential items at home.
• Bathrooms will be available  
• The Waterfront will be open to our runners until closing for you to celebrate!

• Entry fee: $50 + clothing donation (only new or lightly used clothes). 

• Entry fee includes a bib for the race as well as a t-shirt. Please be sure to select your t-shirt size prior to checking out, sizes are unisex.

• Time: 
  • 6:45pm: Check in & partner village opens
  • 7:45pm: Check in closes, kickoff announcements & route overview
  • 8pm: Race start
    
  • 8:40-9:30pm: Celebration + partner village open
    

• Route: Entirely on the Venice Beach boardwalk and bike path, this is an unsanctioned and unchipped race with no official course timing. Course details will be sent to your email 24 hours before the race. Please note that this will be an open course through walkways and bike lanes that are not closed off for the race. Although we do not expect the course to be occupied during our race time, runners should be comfortable running through public areas at night. We recommend runners bring a headlight if you'd like to have more visibility.

• Prizes: Awarded to the top three female and male finishers. Awards package will be emailed out 

• Partners: Partners will be announced a week prior to the race. All participants and spectators will have the opportunity to visit partner booths, where they will be offered product demos and giveaways.  

• Donations: All clothing donations will be given to Project Ropa, an LA-based non-profit that collects, sorts, and repurposes new and gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories, distributing them directly to those in need through their mobile services and community partners. Through this race, we've donated over 4,500lbs of clothing in the last six years.
